Steelers Help Not Needed Anymore

Today's Dayton Daily News reports that the Cincinatti Bengals are a sellout for the 2006 season and that no single game tickets will be available.

Bengals executive Mike President Mike Brown joins the chorus of NFL executives relieved to not have to sell tickets to the Black and Gold clad Mongols to the North East. "The excitement is measurable," Brown said during the pre-training camp luncheon at Paul Brown Stadium. "We've sold out the whole season and that's a milestone. It used to be we'd only sell out whenPittsburgh or Cleveland fans came down, and that's not how you want to sell out."

Something tells me that Brown will still be unhappy by the amount of gold in his black clad crowd on New Years Eve when the disappointing Bengals take on the playoff bound Steelers. More than 1,700 tickets to see the Steelers at Paul Brown Stadium on December 31 are currently available on StubHub.
